Hailey's First Snow Day

It snowed last night so today we took Hailey out to play in it.  We got her shoes and bibs on.  The shoes were a little too big as well as the bibs.  We unfortunately didn't have gloves.  We had mittens but she's put one of them somewhere only she knows.  We borrowed a slide from Megan and put Hailey on it.  She wasn't a fan of it as you can hear.  Joel enjoyed it.  Emilee was bundled up and tired and fell asleep with the rocking motion of my steps.  Enjoy the photos.

Photo update September and October

Family came over after Emilee was born.  We had a picnic in the park with Mike and Lynn, Michelle, Chad, and Mason, Mom and Dad.  Hailey had a good time.  

This is one tired but happy Daddy.

 Mom stayed for a week to help out.  Hard life huh?  Napping.  You'd never know it but "Nana" was tired.  When the kids went to bed we eventually cut out and sewed bamboo diaper inserts for Hailey to wear at night.  We made some 2 layer and some 3 layer.  3 Layer for night time and 2 layer for longer day times.  Love them!!!  Thank you mom.  Read to make more?  I need some in the small size for Emilee now. :)

Hailey thinks this is her recliner since it sits between mine and Joels.  

Soon she'll learn how to fasten the chest strap.

 2 weeks after Emilee was born, Joel and Hailey took a surprise vacation to Alyssa's wedding.

Obviously it was a good time.  Hailey was even sober when they got her to climb in the cat tree.

 Emilee is a once or twice a week pooper.  I can usually tell because she makes these faces!  Then it wears her out!

With everything going on, there's lots of sleeping people.  The bundle of blankets in the background is Emilee.

OCTOBER

Mom (Karen) brough pearls in Alaska for me but they were too small.  BUT they are the perfect size for Hailey and she wears them everywhere... to church, the bathtub, and even the drier.

 Not quite sure this is what learning to fly means to most people but she had a blast! Good thing Aunt Lynn has tall ceilings since Dad and Papa are both over 6 feet tall.

 On the 12th, Emilee was blessed.  Family came into town and we had a good time.  One of the things we did was go out for frozen yogurt.  Hailey quite enjoyed herself.  The frozen gummy bears made her work a little bit harder before she asked for "more, more, more."

 Hailey is getting her top molars in.  We have multiple tooth brushes scattered around the house.  Thank you Papa Brooksby.

 Emilee's blessing dress was made by Ma Moo aka Paula Burgess and family.  Thank you all, it is beautiful.

 It only took us an extra 6 weeks after the event, but Joel finally got his anniversary dinner.

Working at Moppet Togs.  She slept the whole time...3.5 hours.  Now if I could get her to consistently do that at night...

Lastly is Halloween.  She got a slide to help entertain her and then dressed up and asked for candy.  Totally the outfit because of Daddy.  Pictures will come shortly.
