We had a great time with family and friends. Saturday morning was a early lunch at Tucano's. It's one of Dad's favorite places to eat here. Hailey was thoroughly enjoying pointing out all the birds hidden in the trees. Thomas and Joel talked about welding. I just enjoyed sitting next to grandpa. Then we headed back to the apartment to get lunch ready for later that afternoon. Mom made an awesome pasta salad. I cooked potates and crock potted a chili. Everything was pretty crazy getting it ready in time and forgetting something as usual, but it all came together. People were full and Hailey enjoyed playing at the park.
Later that night Dana, Thomas, Ryan and Jillian, and our little family went out for frozen yogurt. I made it home to put the kids to bed before Ryan and Dana. I said, I'm going to lay down for a few minutes before they get back. Night time is when everyone sits around and talks... yeah. I didn't wake back up. It had been a long weekend.
Sunday was good. The blessing was special and touching, Joel always cries. Then we all went to class. It was Hailey's first time in nursery and she loved it! After church we packed up and headed over to Lynn's for dinner and the last hurrah. Hailey and Joel flew there with Papa. Hailey also did a bit of different flying once we'd finished lunch at Lynns. Joel and Hailey took a nap after everyone left. Joel continued to nap so Lynn and her family had dinner, we went over to Michelle's and then came back and then woke Joel up. He was tired. It was a great weekend.

You are a much beloved daughter of your Heavenly Father. You walked with him daily and will again walk with him before your days are done. Hailey, you have a kind heart. Cultivate that kindness. Bless you with strength, strength in the gospel to go forth and teach people you come in contact with. Bless you with strength that your body will hold up. Bless you with health, a sound mind, clear eyes and ears. Hailey you are much beloved by Heavenly Father and all those around you. Bless you with strength for yourself and those around you. Joel's Testimony born on Emilee's blessing October 11, 2014
Joel's testimony that day. Special blessing H.F has given me over the last weeks and years. I have 2 fathers in heaven. H.F blesses me daily. My father some times get to be near me. My father was near during parts of Emilee's birthday. When the NICU was coming in I didn't know how I stood. I was scared when nothing scares me. He has given us family and each other... to hold each other up. All things are possible with the gospel. It brings people together to help one another.
