February has been a fun month. The trees have started blooming which means allergies but it also mean TIME TO PLAY OUTSIDE! A dirty car drives Joel nuts so he spent an evening cleaning it. He took Hailey with him to vacuum it out and she loved it. Then Emi got to help wash it. She had a blast.
We have been to the garden a little bit more. Hailey loves the chickens and wants to collect the eggs. Emi is scared of the chickens one day then wants to pet them the next.
We have been cleaning my parents house for the last 6 weeks. They are downsizing and downsizing after 20 years means a lot of things... It drives me nuts with everything, but Hailey and Emi love it. They get to come back from Nana's house with new treasures. They have brought back a lovely huge fish that Hailey carried around with her everywhere.
They have found necklaces, plastic fruit, markers. It's fun to watch the imagination of a 1 and 2 year old as they play and create make believe friends. aka Mr. Fish.
Joel was called out from the Union to work for Bombard Constructing. He is in a shop and is loving being in the shop. He loves build and making things. There is a lot to learn and many challenges to overcome each day but he's enjoying it. The first week, as usual, he was exhausted and sore from the physical labor. He has dedication and likes to do things right. He's enjoying working again.
