After the luncheon, park play, and eventual sad goodbyes, we loaded back into the van and headed to Mountain Home Idaho where we would be staying with Mike and Lynn. More people! We made it to Mountain Home with naps and minimal screen time. Attempted assassination of trump was the most exciting part of the drive. Once in MH, we let the kids swim, eat dinner, talk and enjoyed visiting.
Sunday we had church, park and stream play, dinner with Michelle and cousins. Monday the kids were up bright and early because they were going fishing! Lynn had introduced me to a particular massage person who dealt with pain management and I was all about starting my trip feeling better and with less pain. Plus I knew that Joel probably could use a massage after all the AC jobs and work he's been doing to get us here. We traded off massage for kids.
Natalie was the therapist and a very different kind of pain and massage and energy worker. It was fantastic. Great way to let go of everything and continue on this trip.
When Joel was getting his massage work done, we went to the park accross the street from Lynns house and attempted to catch fish. Mason kept telling the girls to be quiet, but they would scream any time they had to touch and worm, or they caught a fish, or they had to touch the fish. JJ got stung by a yellow jacket. Hailey and Brystol caught fish but Emi didn't. We headed back to Lynns to pack and eat and continue on.
Visiting with Cousins, Mike, Lynn and Michelle was a good time and hopefully core memories for the girls. Family and fishing. Sounds pretty good huh?
