Photo update: Hailey after one year.

Brand New Baby Girl and Family

 Hailey was born June 3, 2013 at approximately 4:45pm.  She weighed 6 lb 4 ozs.  Labor was fairly quick compared with most people.  Started around 6 am, got more intense as we ran errands.  Finally made it to the hospital around 2:30 pm and she came shortly thereafter.  She through Joel for a loop and has been doing so ever since.   Hello Hailey Raelene.

Day 3 She rolled over on her side.  Back sleeping was never her thing.

I met Uncle Ryan two weeks after I was born.  At first he had no idea what to do with me.
It didn't take him long to figure it out did it?

Mamma Hanks came to Boise to visit her Mom, Grandma Geodde.   Grandma Geodde is in the background.  She'd come over and help mom by holding me or bringing food.

3 - 8 Months ish

I started out as a very serious baby...

Mommy and Daddy had a good time shopping for me at Moppet Togs.  We've gotten good use out of most of it!

Daddy had no idea what he was getting into when he let me play with his glasses this young.

My crazy sleeping habits... yes I'm completely asleep.

I don't look very happy, but I was glad that Grandpa Brooksby came to visit.  But it was nap time...

Halloween.  Daddy was, well, a corrections officer.  Mommy was framed.  I was Minnie Mouse.

6 Month Christmas with Cousins

First trip to Vegas.  It was my first flight and I did great!  Daddy went down to take a break for his job up here and to work with Ryan in the mountains.  Daddy always came home tired and dirty but happy.

Mandy and I didn't really know what to do with each other when we first met.  She barked and growled and I cried, but given a little bit of time to adjust we became quite comfortable with each other.

Mommy treated herself to a trip to the salon.

There are soo many more pictures that could tell the stories of things Hailey's gotten into, adventures we've had, and probably so much more.  But you'll have to go back and reread the book for those.  I hope you all have enjoyed this first year as much as we have.  When I ask Joel what his favorite stage of Hailey's life has been, he's always said this one.  It always changes.  But currently he's loving the 11-12 month stage because Hailey's personality is really starting to come out.  She loves to play with people, with Daddy, and even entertain herself.  We shall see what year three of marriage and year two of Hailey brings.  :)
