Tuesday night we went to see Mystere at the Treasure Island. It is a Circe De Sole show that I remembered from when I was a teenager and it it was awesome then. Well it didn't disappoint this time either! We made our dinner and took it with us. We ate in the parking garage on the tailgate before going in.
The ladies behind us weren't' quite sure what to think about us goofing off.
The old man was one of the funniest parts of the show. He came out and started taking people to their seats. Then he would rearrange people. Then he started handing out popcorn, rather he started popcorn fights and he was the only one with the pop corn. It was a great way to start the show with everyone laughing. Eventually the house kicked him out. ;)
After the show we went for frozen yogurt. U-swirl continues to be the best place we've found so far.

After the show we toured the strip for a little while. We were close to the M&M world and the Coke Factory. This is the wall of chocolate. It has all te colors and flavors that you can't find in stores. The wall is actually quite dangerous because a half pound of M&Ms is $7. Jaime got almost two bags worth. Before she checked out we took wagers on how much she was going to spend on chocolate! We guessed close to $70. She spent $68. Better have been worth it for those coffee M&M's and Coconut M&Ms. :) oh it was... The girls of course wanted some as well. They got $.50 worth of minis and were happy. They loved their bags as well. The bag or the candy... I don't know which was more exciting for them.

Next to the M&M world is Coca Cola world. It's mostly shopping but you can get the CoCa Cola Tastes from around the World. It's 14 different sodas from all around the world. We wrote down what our first reactions were to each of the drinks. Some were pretty good and some tasted like cough syrup mixed with vomit.
On another night we went down to the Bellagio to see the lights. We like the free stuff and the girls love the flowers, water and light show. We usually try to find a light pole to stand by so the girls can stand up and watch. It was hilarious tonight because Hailey started dancing... pole dancing... the look from the crowd was priceless. She didn't care, she was just enjoying dancing and watching the show.
It was Thursday night and Jaime still wanted to go to Freemont street and ride the zip line. The girls were zonkered from all the late nights. I was more than happy to stay home, so Joel and Jaime had a night to themselves. By Thursday night Joel was more than exhausted. Late nights and early mornings, but Freemony with Jaime he couldn't turn down. They rode the zip line and went shopping for souvenirs for Jaime's girls.
One morning we introduced Jaime to Winchell's doughnuts. She is a Krispy Kreme fan. I told her that Joel used to be a KK fan until he tried Winchell. The girls loved the dougnuts and so did Jaime. In fact she liked them so much that Friday morning they got up extra early to make sure they could make it to the Winchells before she was dropped off at the airport. She ordered two dozen doughnuts for the road and to take home to her family. They didn't last long.
It was a fun trip. We were all exhausted but had a great time. Come again anytime.
