We eventually made it back to Vegas, berries and all. We were supposed to have the baby ultrasound on Tuesday but with our flight delay we had to move the ultrasound. Luckily they were still able to get us in while Mom was in town. Joel, Abby, the girls, and Mom all came. During the anatomy scan Abby and the girls stayed in the lobby. When it was time for the gender reveal, Abby and the girls came in. The tech got a couple views in 3 and 4D of the baby. Joel was hoping for a boy. He really wants a boy. Fortunately we had planned to go out for sushi after the ultasound so he could drown his sorrows in fish when he found out we were having a 3rd girl.
On the ride home we discussed names. I had liked the name Bristle from when I was in Washington, but I hadn't really given it much thought because I was trying to think boy. By the time we made it to pick up Journey to come with us, we had decided on a name. Bristle Rae. Then Joel would still have a BR to remember Bobbie Rae and the Rae name would still be on the Smith side.
We then had to think about how to tell everyone. Robyn and Jaime were dying to know if it was a boy or girl, but we decided we wanted to do something fun but it would require a little planning. We finally decided to make a loaf of bread and put a bit of food coloring in the middle either pink or blue. Then when the bun came out of the oven, we could cut it open and they would know. They didn't like waiting, but they loved the reveal. Plus with the extra dough we made cinnamon rolls.
While Nana was here we went over what foods we wanted to make. We made jam, homemade mac and cheese, and Abby said she wanted lasagna, so we got the things to make lasagna. Now who can really make a small thing of lasagna. It was a 10x13 pan. Emi enjoyed helping. She was in charge of putting the cheese on, well... not all of it made it out of the bowl and into the lasagna.

While Abby was here for her 3 weeks, she had plenty to do.
-Mystere with Joel.-M&M world.
-Coke world.
-Swimming.
-Parks.
-Hanging out.
-Mandalay Bay ice cream adventure. The Reef at Mandalay bad has a dessert called the Ice Cream Challenge. It's 24 different flavors of ice cream that you don't know what they are, so you have to taste them and guess. If you get them all right, the ice cream is free. No one has ever guessed them all though.
-Pin Ball Hall of Fame with all the old school arcade games. Abby was so excited that they had pac-woman.
