For the 4th of July we went out to Henderson with Steven/Samantha and Eli. There was supposed to be a 20 minute firework show. We got there a couple hours early so we would have a good spot. Hailey and Emi enjoyed the grass and playing with flags and friends. There were concession booths and lots of things to do. It was nice being with another family because we would trade of watching kids or things while the parents could break away for a few minutes.
Hailey and Emi enjoyed the fireworks after they got over the initial fear and explosions. It was a good time and worth the drive to Henderson...getting out with parking after it ended was another nightmarish story.

The old Mormon Fort is open and filled with festivities to celebrate the 24th of July Pioneer day. I took Hailey and Emi to it. They enjoyed the climbing into old wagons, wearing bandanas, throwing plastic cow chips, but most important and their favorite things was the train ride. They went over and over and over and had I not been over heated they would have gone until the park closed.
